| Well, today is a new day. Last night I had brought my new Yorkie (in his crate) to the stand at the foot of my bed. His crate was covered except the side facing me. My resident Yorkie (BeanO) on top of my bed. We all went to sleep at about 8 pm and slept the whole night . But prior to that, it seems like Mr BeanO is gradually coming to accept Mr Milo. I was on the sofa with Mr BeanO then I went and got Mr Milo on to my lap. BeanO watched but did not move even when Milo moved to him to sniff him. Hmm. Good sign. So I went to the other room, put down Mr Milo and he and BeanO now started playfully to chase each other. This was a riot to watch. I let this happen for maybe 10 minutes under my watchful eye of course as BeanO is 15.6 lbs and Milo only 3.2 lbs (according to the weigh in at the vet earlier in the day). Milo had BeanO on the run most of the time but playfully so. No growling or aggressive stuff. So yesterday was a good day. Today was the same good morning so far. A little running around then back into the pen for Milo. It seems like the whole dynamics of this relationship is changing- hopefully for the better. BeanO is a kissing machine for sure and it seems that Milo is too. Getting photos of Milo is a little difficult as he is not standing still yet. lol. This week I hope to bring some photos to this site. I have 300+ photos of BeanO from day one and will do same with Milo. Home is peaceful and fun with my Yorkies. God and the universe work in mysterious ways and bring us many blessings. |

| You are lucky, I also picked up a 9 week old yorkie male pup on Sunday(Rusty). For the first 8 hours the older female (18 months)(Roxy) put up with him. They even played for a while. Then the grandchildren came over and everything changed. She got jealous. nipped at the pup. Now the wife took monday and tuesday off to try to play referee. Situation seems to be getting better. I was told it could take a couple of weeks before they bond. I sure everything will work out. Just ordered a double stroller for them. |

| Like everyone else mentioned, you're so lucky!! I wish we experienced this same thing haha... Scottie was so jealous and mad at me for bringing baby Casie home. He didn't want anything to do with me for a whole day; he didn't let me touch him after touching her! And he didn't want to be near her for at least a couple weeks. I'm so happy for you!! Enjoy all the puppy and playful antics!!!

| Tis good to hear others experiences when introducing a second Yorkie. Well, today went even better with mine. Again I let my new Yorkie (Mr Milo-3 lbs) out of the pen for about 10 minutes about 5-6 times today under my watchful eye. Mr BeanO is 15.6 lbs so I need to watch that that my heavier Yorkie does not get too rambunctious. The little one chased my big Yorkie and both seemed to be having fun. My bigger Yorkie even stopped several times while the little one caught up to him then started playful bites and of course there was that mutual sniffing. So far so good. Each time I will let them play for a longer period of time. I praised BeanO many times for being such a good boy. BeanO just wanted to play and play with Mr Milo. It was really a riot to watch as BeanO got quite a workout. Watching them as they tried to look around a crate to see where the other one was and then run like crazy when spotted. I am trying to get some pics of my new yorkie but he would not pose and kept moving so all the shots I took were too blurred. Tomorrow is another day and maybe I can get a photo (s) of him. Mr Milo is quite a character and seems to have a lot of personality. He is a kisser also like Mr BeanO. The blessing continues.. |

| Isn't it just the funniest ever watching them play. Wait until Mr Milo gets a bit bigger lol and the wrestling begins lol. I have NO baby photo's when mine were wee lil babies, they were never still unless they were sleeping lol. You are one LUCKY dad that Mr BeanO accepted this baby so fast, I am soooo happy for you and Mr BeanO, he has a BFF.

| It sounds like you're handling them perfectly, especially with the gradual increments of monitored interactions! Again, super happy for you that they've started off so well! I found that videos were much easier to take than photos when mine where never still Plus, videos really captured the puppy essence better too

| Today, they were getting better n better. Still only short 5-10 min bouts of them playing and chasing each other and of course the obligatory "sniffing". With the weight differences I watch them close so that Mr BeanO does not get too rambunctious with Mr Milo. Both dogs seem to be happy. I am glad. I count my blessings every day and give thanks to the power above . I absolutely love both my Yorkies. But, the only downside now when I leave the house for food shopping etc. Instead of one Yorkie giving me those sad eyes, now both are doing so. Makes it tough for me to leave the house now. lol. Good info on video and I will start doing that now also. Last edited by Milosopher; 10-28-2016 at 01:47 PM. Reason: more info |

| The Beano Characters - Comic Vine This is a list of Beano characters, perhaps one of them would match with your Beano. Gnasher is a naughty dog owned by Dennis the Menace. Congratulations. How excited you must be. Can't wait for pics and your name choice. I expect you know this, but just in case, it helps any -We introduced baby Pippi (Pip) to Caleb about 9mths after getting Caleb. He needed extra cuddles and one on one time, as he was a bit jealous. I'm sure your two will soon be friends. Once your little on can go on walks, then the two going together will help the bonding. When we gave meals, treats, gave a commands (sit/down...) or walked through door ways etc, we always told Caleb to go first, then the baby and kept to that. It seemed to help, as when we forgot, tension arose between them. Once again Congratulations oop edit: I see you know have a name. Congratulations to Mr Milo. Funny I imagined you finding something a naughty pup had done and saying 'ok Mister' who did this?

| Know = now. Can't edit my post as it takes me so long to write. Disabled and have to pick one letter out at a time, on an on screen keyboard. Sorry to the grammar police, for mistakes in post.

| Yesterday I got a new pen for Mr Milo. I placed it in the center room and now Mr Milo can see everything happening and he is more visible to me. Mr BeanO is getting more comfortable but he is rough housing a little too much for Mr Milo. I have cut the time for them to horseplay to only a few minutes now as Mr BeanO is getting a little too pushy. 15.5 lbs vs 3 lbs could inavertently cause harm to little Mr Milo so I will keep their play time both frequent and short. Mr Milo seems to have quite a nice personality. I sense that now Mr BeanO may be getting jelous, somewhat but he will get over it in time. I have some pics of Mr Milo but they are not so clear. Eventually I am bound to get a good photo and will post some pics then. "I see you know have a name. Congratulations to Mr Milo. Funny I imagined you finding something a naughty pup had done and saying 'ok Mister' who did this?" Too funny lol Last edited by Milosopher; 10-29-2016 at 10:03 AM. Reason: more info |
