| I posted this in Breeder threads but no response. Ok I have been a member here for awhile now. I don't post, but I am on here almost daily reading anything and everything I can about yorkies. I have a 2 yr old female that is currently on day 63 from first mating. She had 3 ties during her heat. I have had her to the vets expecting 4/5 puppies. I have also been in contact with a breeding mentor as well. But I want to interact with people on here as well. Anyway to get to my question. Here temp has been ranging from 99.9 to 99.3. Normaly higher in the mornings since I take it after breakfast and she has been out to potty. She had a dip on Saturday to 98.6 but it went right back up. Yesterday her temp went up to 100.7 and stayed up all day and night... Last night she was panting and couldnt get comfy for about an hour and a half... it wasn't hot in my house at all. I thought it was gonna be the night. Today she is just chilling and temp was 99.3 this morning and 100.2 about 30 minutes ago.... Is this normal.... Her vulva is just starting to get the puffy look today. Please no rude comments. I have asked my mentor, she said it was perfectly normal, but I want to be for sure. |

| I am Not a breeder. If you have faith in your mentor, trust her/him. Surely your Vet should know if this is normal or not. Do you have a vet standing by in case of complications? The only time we had a female that had pups were mongrels and delivered without anyone's help. [That was Years ago]............ Yorkie's are so special I would be anxious too. . . Please keep the YT group updated on her progress and we would LOVE to see pics of the babies.

| Thank you so much.. yes it was very sad, but she was so weak and so small. I bottle fed her and even had her nursing off another female that still had milk. She was my friends dog. but she just stopped nursing and stopped taking the bottle and faded. |

| Thanks for the photo's, the puppies are adorable, I cannot visualize a puppy a bit bigger then a bic cigarette lighter lol. I am sure you did everything possible to save that little baby.
