| Just had surgery Gidget had her hysterectomy early today. When I picked her up, I had a pair of preemie onesies for her to wear. Vet said as long as I kept this on her, there was no need for her to wear the cone collar. So glad I don't have to worry her or me with the cone. At 3 1/2 lbs. the premies are a good fit. Just unsnap when I take her out side for pee time, etc. |

| I would suggest you still keep a close eye on her. Is it something she can chew through? I had to put a cone on Sasha when she had the FHO and I know she did not like it. Sometimes tough love is what is needed. I wish her a speedy recovery!

| Not that it changes anything anywhere, and I would not have believed it, but our precious Maggie was spayed about a month ago and never touched her stitches! I was amazed and had multiple collars available. Gracie would have needed a huge collar! I was amazed at how well she did--precious girl! Best of luck with your little one!

| I'm really keeping a close eye on Gidget. She has her leash attached to her harness and the leash is always in my hand so she's never far away. She could easily chew through the onesie but so far she hasn't even looked that way. She's doing really well today - had surgery Thurs morning and is eating and peeing. Had her for a short walk up the road and she enjoyed that but keeping her at a slow walking pace--no running back and forth across the road. Thanks for all your concerns. We know how much we love our little yorkies. |
