| Hi there, I really think the best thing to do is talk to your vet if you don't take him in. That sounds like something the vet should talk to you about and check out especially if one is yellow. Does not sound right to me anyhow. If one is bleeding you could wet a cloth with cold water or an ice cube wrapped in a cloth and hold it on it to stop the bleeding if it isn't too bad. Hope that helps any.

| My brothers wondering if somehow there could be ticks under these two scabs as they're perfectly rounded? Idk I'm trying to see if someone will cover my vet bills since I feel ours is outrageously expensive like $40 just for the office call?!

| Have you looked at pictures of engorged ticks? If it is a tick, you should be able to see tiny legs... It could be something like a spider bite.. Safest thing is for a vet to take a look but in the meantime, you could google key words and see if you see anything similar. |

| Yea it looks like a Normal bite or itchy scab to me I mean he does have dry skin and dig a lot but yea I see no legs or anything and it's just an average scab that looks like it needs cleaned I just don't know why he's getting these...I might have to cut into my savings if nobody else will step up to help me

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Take a pic and post it here if you can. To me, this sounds like a localized pyoderma infection (aka staph intermedius, aka a "hot spot"). This infection could easily go systemic, btw. Does he have allergies or something? Does he chew/lick his paws? For localized pyoderma, the treatment is usually Muciprocin ointment, which is prescription. If systemic, then it's Simplicef x 30 days. You could try putting antibiotic ointment on it 2x per day and see if that helps since it's still early.

| He was told a rash on his knee was a staph infection last year that healed almost on its own also at that time we found these black bumps all over his belly and that's when he was given some allergy pills for a month that didn't help him...I can get a pic tonight though!
