| Best wet dog food My Gidget seems to need a little boost added to her dry dog food. What is a good canned food for me to get to add a little to her wet food. |

| I use The Honest Kitchen as a topper. I make up a small container once every 2 days and give them about a tablespoon on top of their kibble. They love it. It is freeze dried so you just add water to the mix.

| I've really been concerned about Gidget not eating. Most days if she eats 2 or 3 T of dry food, it's been a good day. So, I decided to go by the Vet and have her weighed. At 24 weeks she weighs 3.5 lbs & Vet says she's doing fine. So no more worry. She eats what she needs and that's it. No 3 meals a day - she just grazes. My first Yorkie was that way. I'd put out 1/3 c. dry food and sometimes he ate it all in one day and sometimes it took 2 days. He died at 14 from kidney failure so it didn't seem to hurt him at all. Another thing re potty training outside--suggestion is to find a certain spot, take puppy to that same area at all potty breaks. When I had the first Yorkie, Teddy, we were living in an RV and doing volunteer mission work. Every 2 or 3 weeks, we moved to a new location and Teddy had to find another spot. Didn't seem to have any ill effects on him. So, each Yorkie is different and each owner must realize that and adapt to that furbabies needs. |
