| I agree and commend you on opening your home to her.....The howling would get old and I am not sure how to deal with that. Does she sleep with your H or in the same room at least? I am sure she is used ot lots of company at night if she was a kennel dog. If she all alone at night this could be the problem. As for nipping the pups...i would guess she is just letting them know her boundaries and that she is the boss and they need to behave and leave her alone. As long as she is not hurting them I would let them work that out. |

| Poor baby, she has a lot of adjusting to do. Just try to be patient. (Easy for you, not so for hubby!) I hope she adjusts soon.

| Bearded1957, Where did you adopt this dog from? If she is nipping at your pups, I would keep them separated except when you are there to keep a close eye on things. Is she growling and nipping at you and your husband? What's going on when she acts that way?
