| Head all white at 6 months old So I went to look at a new Yorkie female today. I will attach pic but it is not recent. I was told she is 6 months old and 3.2 pounds. My question is why is her face and head turning all white? |

| Perfectly normal! She is adorable. My Teddy had a white blond topknot at 8 months to about 3 years of age. Then he turned darker, more gold on his head. Max had a silver topknot. He turned gold. My boys are full brothers. Yorkies go through a lot of color changes.

| Yes thank you, many color changes. I just did not know the whole face and head would turn so white. |

| The hair will likely change again to a darker gold or light gold color. Some Yorkies do end up blonder on the entire head.
