| Update on Having Two Yorkies Now! Well, my sweet, sensitive Zeusy has done the opposite of what I thought. The gentle soul is so in love with his brother, Perseus, that he won't eat his treats or food without him. If Percy does something wrong but Zeusy did it right, we still try to treat Zeusy. He won't eat until Percy can -- even saves some of his treat for him. They are together all day now (Percy is out of the hoosegow as we call it [ex-pen]). They sleep in the bed together, look out the window together, play together, eat and drink together, and even go the pads together. It is impossibly sweet; however, I worry about my Zeus getting his little heart broken. He is such a sweet soul. He even tries to protect Percy at the vet's office. Very, very protective. Anyone else have this happen that have two? |

| We got our second Yorkie around the first of the year. In the time that they have been together they are close to impossible to separate. On the rare occasion that one of them has to go somewhere that the other is not around, much whining and pacing happens. I won't claim that ours are so genteel with each other that they wouldn't eat each others treats or food if we let them. Bella, our first needs a special diet for her liver condition so we have to make sure that each one gets the bowl made for them and each of them are more interested in what the other is getting that they are not! LOL Also, when it comes to toys, no matter what it is, if the one has it, the other one thinks it is their job in the universe to get it.

| Russpilot, believe me, Perseus will eat without Zeusy for sure. Wouldn't care if he gets treats/food at all. I don't think he cares near as much. Lovestiny, you are what inspired me to give the update -- the pictures of your two beautiful babies! |

YT 500 Club Member | This is the sweetest story ever. How old is your 1st. I really want another little brother for Ruger, but if it happens won't be until Ruger is 2 years old Is this too old to bring in another puppy? Would like advice on this. Have to say Ruger is definitely a Momma's boy.

To answer your question, 2 yo is NOT to old to get a puppy, they will bond and be BFF.

| How absolutely wonderful that little Zeus has fallen in love with his baby brother. Reminds me of my last 2 girls, my older one was 6 yo, had lost her 2 older sisters, she needed a BFF, I bought home the puppy and it was love at first sight, they were inseparable. My heart would get over whelmed watching these two, my older girl loved her lil sister so much. I am so happy Zeus has taken to his baby brother.

| So sweet! I'm very happy for you that the boys love each other. I worry too about what will happen in the future, but we have to enjoy the present.

| Wow, I am deeply touched by these stories. My Yorkie (Mr Bean O) will soon have a brother too. Mr Bean O will be one year old next week. I absolutely love my Yorkie! Soon he will have a brother that will keep him company when I go out and around for coffee etc. |

| My two are also attached at the hip. If one leaves to go somewhere with me the other also whines and barks. I think the food situation is sweet. Mine wait until both bowls are down before they start eating. Also Boomer, who is the alpha of the two, needs to start eating first. He will sometimes leave food for his brother to finish. But when it comes to treats its ever dog for himself. They will snatch up each other's treats if they are not looking
