| Raw Freeze Dry Treats Does any one have experience with the Raw Freeze Dry Treats? I got them in my BarkBox last month and I just gave them as a treat yesterday to Boomer and Thumper. When I went to walk them this morning both had watery stool and barely anything came out. I have never given them this type of treat before and was wondering if it could cause constipation or diarrhea? When we were on our outing yesterday another dog owner in the group said those treats give her dog diarrhea so I thought they may be the cause as that is the only difference in their diet and they both have the same symptom. I just gave them some pumpkin hoping that will help. And I will avoid any other treats until their poop is better. Otherwise they are just tired from an all day outing yesterday at the beach. They had the best time running off leash with all the other dogs.

| Thanks... the pumpkin did the trick and they are back on track. I will try the treats again and see what happens.

| We got those treats last month too, the boys LOVE them Maybe you gave too many? I really don't give very many treats, and when I do it's a very small piece. |

| Do you know what the protein is from the ingredients list? Scottie has an extremely sensitive stomach. If the bulk of the ingredients is liver, then he can only have like a pinch of it per day. It's just too rich for him. Otherwise, freeze-dried treats are great. Just start out slow. The diarrhea just means he got too much of it.

| I give Lexi 4-5 freeze dried nuggets each afternoon. I break them into small shredded pieces. She hasn't had any problems. I haven't tried the brand that came in her Barkbox yet, though. |

| hmm, I only find that my girl would have stool issues if it's either given too suddenly or too much at first and not introduced slowly. Now if it's ingredients that she's already used to, then it'll be no problem at all. Look at the ingredient list to see if there's something that they are not used to eating. If there's a good handful of stuff that they are not use to eating already, then you gotta give it in small amounts at first.

| I tried giving the treats to them again and they are now fine. It must have been something else. They seem to enjoy them but prefer their cookies

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I think when it starts getting warmer out again, they can pick up little GI bugs that can upset things..so maybe that was it.
