| Where have you sneaked your Baby into? Have you ever snuck your baby into a no-dog establishment? I have! My baby has been to a Sushi restaurant in my purse type carrier. She was very quiet and really enjoyed the tuna we slipped her. We have been asked to leave Target. Maybe I will try the movie theater next.... Shhhhhhh! Don't tell on us! and we won't tell on you! |

Asked to leave Target? Was she in your purse-type carrier? I did that once, but I wasn't asked to leave... I brought her to a local coffee shop that I visit daily once. The staff was friendly, they didn't mind. But this other patron in there had a major cow! He even threatened to stomp and squash my baby! My friend and I looked at him, thought he was joking (he looked "high"...) but he just went on and on. He said, "You think your dog is small, so special that she's allowed to come in?!" I told him to back off and if he did anything to my baby, I'd make sure he pay for it. Then, we left. Haven't been back to the coffee shop since. | |

| My brother-in-law owns a restaurant - he is definitely not a strict person- but has to draw the line at letting dogs enter the restaurant. It's not that he cares personally - but if the right person came in (anyone from the health department), and realized that a dog was there, - he could be heavily fined. Plus a lot of his patrons do care. He told someone with a pup one day that they had to take the pup outside --- and there there were a lot of disgruntled customers there - complaining about the dog having been there. Any of you care if you might cause another person to be fined (not a small fine either) because you snuck your pup into a place where it shouldn't be? I think restaurants are the most strict - that doesn't mean that a lot of the waitresses and other employees won't think your pup is cute. They don't think much about it sometimes - but then they don't have to pay any fines. Carol Jean |

| Omg... The funniest thing happen to us...My husband planned a nice weekend in Portland Oregon for us at a 5 star hotel which didnt accept pets. My husband begged me to ask my parents to watch Mason however I was having None of that. So, I told him I would just sneak Mason in the room. My husband checked us in and then came out to the car to get the bags and Us. He told me he will be going in before us because he refused to get caught walking in with me with my baby. So, I stuck Mason in my backpack with his blanket and a few chew treats to keep him busy while I buzzed into the lobby and up a VERY long flight of stairs to our room. I couldnt take the elevator because it was ROSE PARAIDE WEEKEND In Portland which is a very busy time and the elevator was loaded with people. HAHAHA!! WE DIDNT GET CAUGHT!!

| i've never taken bunjee into an establishment that has a no-pet sign on the front door. bed, bath, and beyond for instance has a sign stickered to the front door regarding their pet policy. whole foods grocery store does the same. i can respect that. however, any place without a "no pet sign" i've taken bunjee with me in my purse carrier, including target, walmart, restaurants, jo-ann fabrics, the mall, macy's, bookstores, starbucks, public transportation, ceramic store, grocery store, etc etc. i usually walk him a bit before i put him into my purse to make sure he's not fussy. the only time he'd get fussy in the purse is if he needs to go pee/poo. and when he does come with me into any of those establishments, he stays in the purse. so no accidents on the store floor. personally, if he stays quiet, still and in my purse, i don't really see him as any different from a compact that's in my purse. |

| Gus goes everywhere with me. I've taken him to church, the movies the doctors office,,, we go to alot of fast food places. I have yet to take him into a dine in restaurants. But all my local stores like the market, walmart, target the mall or any other stores know both me and Gus and welcome him as long as he stays in his bag, which is fine with both of us. Gus loves his bag. As soon as I grab my keys he runs to get in his bag. It kills me when I can't take him. He looks so sad just laying there in his bag watching me walk out the door.

| Anyone taking in more than one dog? I have 2 weighing a total of about 10 pounds, but I don't do much bag carrying because I'm always afraid of them being too crunched together or bumping up against each other. Although the few times I have carried them the dogs haven't seemed to mind. Am I being too sensitive. The one place they've gone interesting is our fancy Civic Center - My Bubba played the role of Toto in my daughter's dance recital this past summer. Roxie snuck in several times to see her partner danced across the stage in the arms of a Dorothy and Glenda the good witch! Sure didn't like the Wicked Witch saying, "I'll get you, my pretty and your little dog , too!!" |

| I take Princess everywhere I go. She has a Puppy Stroller for most stores. They don't seem to mind. She's almost 3 so I guess we have been getting away with it for a long time. McDonalds even sells me cheese burgers with out the bun for her.

| Funny how I read this thread now, LOL. I'm about to head to Target w/ Ransom in his carrier. Sitting here now with thoughts of "hmmmm will I or will I not be asked to leave??" It's worth the chance. My feelings are that is if he is in his carrier then there should be no problems, people can't see him and it's not a restaurant etc. Now food establishments I totally understand, but then again if the pup is in the carrier whats the big deal?? I feel people track more germs in on the bottom of their shoes then carrying their fur baby while being in their carrier. Or those who don't wash their hands after using the restroom in food establishments, etc. Seems to be most pets are cleaner than many humans out and about. (Especially where I live, ewwww) I plan on trying the movies next. I mean it's dark and all and he's so quiet I doubt it would do any harm. He'd most likely just nap during the movie. I am guessing that with the popularity of more and more pet owners taking their pets w/ them into public places, more rules will be changed on where exactly pets are or not allowed to be.

| I only take Bailey places I know it's ok, dont want the whole confrontation thing. He goes to Lowes, and was a Walmart when he was wee little, surprising they didn't say anything. And I take him to local drug store, Drug Mart, all the time, they actually get mad, when I DON'T have him. LOL
