| when you buy from a (good) breeder... If you have a deposit from the time they are born, and it is a far distance (will not see pup until he is picked up by my husband) how many sets of photos is normally expected from birth to twelve weeks? I do not want to drive the breeder nuts with requests for photos. This is the first time I have done it this way...thanks !! |

| I think a weekly photo is not out of the question) I would *want* at least 1 a day, but that's really not fair to expect! What have you been getting? I'm sure you are on pins and needles!!!! How exciting! When will you be getting this little one?

| Did your breeder tell you how many pics you could expect to be getting weekly? This is a terribly busy time for the breeder....she may very well be taking pics and just hasnt had the time to sit and download them from her camera chip.....I never was angry if someone (especially anyone that had paid a deposit and had "$kin in the game") emailed me and asked if I had time to take a shot or two.....While this birthing and puppy thing was "old hat" to me, I always remembered and appreciated how totally ecstatic the new owners were, and did my best to appreciate that and reward them for that blissfully happy time! | Thanks, Deb didn't say... So I emailed today to ask for pics. I just don't want to be a total pain in the neck. I think she already knows I am totally neurotic with my animals and he will be treated so well but I definitely ask a lot of questions! She is very patient |

| I too didn't want to be a bother, so for Scottie I had only asked for a few pictures and I got pictures of him when he was 3 months and then 5 months. I also asked for pictures of his parents. For his upcoming baby sister, I've asked for recent pictures and if they had any older pictures. So I got 1mo, 2 mo, and current, total less than 5 pictures. And of course pictures of parents again. I assume they're really busy so didn't want to seem annoying and ask for more even though I'd want to! I figure I'll have plenty of time to take pictures once she arrives

No, not from the same dam/sire. But, her dad is Scottie's brother, which I guess would make her Scottie's niece.
