| Help! Puppy eating cabinets Our baby is eating our cabinets. Dark wood does not look good when its finishing comes off Any tips? We tried the bitter spray and even hot sauce. He has so many toys including bully sticks and other chew toys. Any tips are greatly appreciated. |

| I have been there and done that!!! So have hundreds of other puppy owners....this is just what God pays and pre-programs puppies to do! Put your baby in an x-pen....position that pen in the middle of the room, or away from anything baby can reach through the bars on the x-pen....(I have had little genius yorkies reach with that little short leg, and pull small objects up to the bars and then work the object into the x-pen!) |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | The only way to manage this right now is to not allow the pup access.

| I have read that roll on antiperspirant works. When mine were pups they chewed everything. I have a rocking chair that is evidence of their handiwork. Now they seems to stick to their bully sticks and don't bother anything else. The wires here were all coated with Mcilheneys tobacco sauce because I was afraid they would electrocute themselves.

| Magnus chewed up all the cabinet corners in our kitchen, trims, etc... when he was teething. Thankfully, he grew out of it but the damage was already done. When Zoey came, I gave her a frozen baby hand towel that I soaked in water/chicken broth. Seemed to work well with her since she didn't take any interest in other things to chew. |

Limit her space, supervise at all times. If she starts chewing on furniture distract her with a chew-able toy. Bitter Apple didn't work with my pups either, in fact baby #3 liked the taste lol.
