| pet friendly hotels I am wondering if hotels are still (pet friendly) when it comes to having three yorkies in a room . Or do some frown on it. Can you have too many for certain hotels that allow pets? When they say pet fee, is it usually per dog? Thanks |

Yorkie Lover Donating Member | I would talk to the hotel itself as each one is different...some just have one pet fee no matter the number of dogs other it is per dog!! I am not sure about having three yorkies, we have taken both of our girls places and no one said anything about having multiples....all you can do is ask and see!!

| I have a hard time just finding a hotel/motel/cabin that even excepts one small dog! Are there any out there anymore??? I am having my daughter call around for a "school project" - she is homeschooled - with a list of questions on this. One is "if pets are now not allowed, do you see in the future to have atleast one room set aside for pet owners" I would honestly rather stay in a pet room than a smoking room, but that is my personal preference! I hate to leave my little guy with someone when we go someplace and we can't always drive our RV places..... It would be AWESOME if we all could compile lists of stores and places we can take our little ones!!!

| Every summer I take my daughter to the national baton contest held at Notre Dame and we spend so much time in the gym with her practicing or watching other twirlers that I decided to try-out a cheaper hotel last summer. We stayed at a Motel 6 - I think for the first time ever in my life. And I couldn't believe how many pets were at this hotel. (made me homesick even more for my own.) We kept seeing one cat in the window all week long. I think I read something that all Motel 6 locations accept pets for a small fee. The room was clean and comfortable and not at all what I had feared it might be. (Reminds me I need to make rsv. now for the same trip in 6 mths.) |

| Most Candlewood Suites are pet friendly also. I was reading on their website...pets under 80 lbs allowed. I thnk we're staying at the one in Charlotte Coleseum this weekend (my boys are racing Motocross!)
