| Hi I live in San Beranrdino and took my Gus to Petsmart once and never took him back. I do all my grooming myself. My poor guy was so scared when I picked him up. It looked as if they hacked him up and I told them to leave his nails alone. I am the only one who files them every week. And they went and clipped them. I went to go pick him up and he was so happy that he scratched my chest all up. I was so upset with their services that I just decided to do all grooming myself. It took some practice on how to do his ears but after a few times and I have to add lots of mistakes,,, I finally got it down.

| I obviously don't live in the Inland Empire and I'm sorry to say something off topic, but I had NO CLUE what the inland empire was before I started hearing about people talk about it on YT. It sounds like a regal kingdom or something! good luck finding a groomer you trust. They're hard to come by!

| How do you do it? I feel so nervous that I will hurt her. Do you groom him with human hair clippers?? Or do they sell clippers specially for pooches like ours?? So you file the nails not cut right. The first and only time I cut her nails I clipped one the wrong way and she was bleeding just a little but I did freak out!!!! What do you suggest.

| Vibanez --- I'm afraid "Inland Empire" is a term found for areas all over the United States. I had to look at your profile to get a clue about where you live. I live in Spokane, WA, which which has been called the "Inland Empire" forever!! Good luck - Hope you find a great groomer! Carol Jean |

The nails, I started this when he was a puppy. I just held him like a baby in my arms and massage him after his bath. I got him used to me touching his paws at a very young age. I did use the clippers a few times but I was so scared of going to short so I got my nail file and started filing them. He didn't mind one bit. Most of the time he just falls asleep. I do this every week after his bath so that they don't get too long.

| For residents of So Cal, the Inland Empire is a popular informal name for a region located at the eastern end of the Grearter Los Angeles Area. The Inland Empire is centered on the oldest cities in the region: To name a few,,,, Ontario, San Bernardino, Redlands, Upland and Riverside. The name is derived from the region's location about 50 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean
