| Sooner or later i knew it would happen My husband yelled this morning, "they got a rabbit". Icalled them but only Sissy would come in and Bubba ran under the deck with something in his mouth. My husband finally got him out but couldnt see anything under the deck, so I got dressed and crawled under (just picture me shimmying around on my belly in a space about 12-15 inches high. I found a place that had been dug up and used a piece of plastic to dig. Sure enough I found it........gag, the back half of a rabbit. We know it was killed in our yard. There is fur all over in the snow. I keep hoping that ours didn't kill it but if they didn't that means there was something that jumped the fence into the yard. I called the vet and he said to watch them for vomiting and diarrhea (please, no) and we might want to bring in stoll samples in about a week to check for parasites. He said we don't have to worry about rabies because they are covered. The was a post a couple days ago asking when they calm down. Well, I hate to tell you but NEVER. bubba is 11 and Sissy is 10. My muddy, snowy clothes are in the washer and I have had the hottest shower ever, gag.

| Oh God what a day! That totally sucks, I would have been gagging too or worse! You poor thing, I would have slapped my husband with the tail end of that bunny for me having to be the one to go after it . I hope something didn't come across your fence, that in itself is frightening. Mine is done being outside even with me right there (in our yard), too many critters! You are right, a calm yorkie at any age is a rare thing and typically requires a vet visit I hope your day gets better, and I pray no ill effects from bunny hunting on your babies!

| There is this one bunny that comes in my yard and just torments the heck out of Duchess. I don't have a fence in backyard so the only thing she can do is bark at it from the window or deck. I'm so glad she can't get to it because she would definitely kill it. I love all creatures and I would probably cry and have a funeral for the bunny. Hopefully your pups are okay and won't suffer any repercussions. |

| Oh no, Bubba and Sissy! You are brave, Joan. Gotta love your little hunters, showing off that they are still fast enough to catch things. I know Teddy would go for the kill, given the chance. Max would just bark and dance around menacingly. I hope the rest of your day is peaceful, no ill effects for your bunny hunters.

| Be thankful it was a rabbit and not a skunk. Barney's ear still has stink in it. He didn't actually get it. But ran up to our chain link fence and got sprayed through it. This was 2 months ago and his ear still stinks! Fortunately/unfortunately I was near him. So we both stunk for a while.

| Wow! I cant imagine... My yorkie thankfully loves other animals. I got a pet rabbit when farleys was about 4 years old and our bunny lives free in our yard for 4 or 5 years now. They all get along fine. I also bought chickens last spring.. Farley doesnt mind them either. Im quite lucky... All 4 of my dogs are great with thr rabbit and chickens. |

| I guess I am lucky it wasn't a skunk. Every time they go out into the yard they are still looking for the carnage. There is a squirrel they are after because it teases them by sitting on the fence and staring at them. I don't know what they would do if they met a cat. I don't think they have ever seen one of those. Sounds like Max would like to have a cat for dinner.

| I can imagine Bubba and Sissy are feeling quite proud protecting their kingdom and looking for their next conquest. Max is all posturing and no action. The only thing that he might touch is a squirrel. Teddy is the killer. He even enjoys swatting flies.

| Kaji does the happy "Let's play!" dance and butt wiggles. Cats don't seem to impressed with that either! Honestly, if Kaji could talk, I think he'd ask me for his own pet kitten. One that would actually play with him.

| Kaji is a sweetheart. I think my boys would wrestle too much with cats. In fact, they paw at each other like cats sometimes.
