| Potty training preference Hi, I am wanting to know what everyone thinks is best. Is training a yorkie puppy to go outside OK, or inside in litter pan or pee pad better? And why. Thanks in advance for your input! Colleen |

If you have an adequate outside area, within a temperate weather area, and the pup is fully vaccinated, then outside potty training is the way I would go. Folks in apartments, or inclement weather areas, or very young pups prefer to use pee pads. Some folks who have pups that need to potty at night also use pee pads rather than get up and accompany them out.

| I am in the Seattle Washington area, so we have a few real cold nights but not extreme cold or snow but definitely colder than say, Arizona. I will have warm clothes for Sammy as well. I would prefer outsideand of course all shots will be kept caught up. I am just not sure if its to cold here or not. I would be taking him out not letting loose in yard. Any input is very welcome. Thank you. And thank you maryzoo! |
