| Top knots, and long hair is totally acceptable for male yorkies. As long as you take care of his hair every day, it's no problem for the Yorkie either. My cousin thinks I'm trying to make my dog look like a female because I keep his hair long, and put a top knot on his head, but I'm not. I don't know how else to explain, but top knots just look good on yorkies.

| I think he is adorable. He could even wear ear rings and a necklace and be just fine in the world we live in now. Unlike when I was a kid way back in the olden days. I am not put off by guys with ear rings or necklaces any more. :-) We have a make almost 5 years old now and a baby girl just 6 months old. I am letting both their hair grow out and am going for the top knot thing. Will see how it works for us. :-) |

| Deuce has a topknot. Sometimes I like to braid it. But here's the usual comment. "Oh she's so cute. I love her ponytail." My reply; "Oh that's a Manly ponytail just like his Daddy." Then I point to my husband who has a ponytail.

| That's cute! I'm going to try to do Baxter's hair like the way you have Deuce's ponytail. Several weeks ago I decided to give Baxter a "puppy cut" while watching my iPad. When I was finished we weren't really happy about the results. So we will try something different when it grows out again. Do you ever braid you hubby's ponytail? :-) |

| Here's a photo of Deuce's braid look. I did have his hair longer in order to do it that way.
