| Feta Cheese I gave Beowulf some Feta Cheese for the first time last night and he really really loves it! Anything I give him for the first time he's always hesitant to eat it. When I put the feta cheese in front of him he wasted no time to lick it out of my hand. I was soo surprised! I just want to know if its okay to give him this as a treat. Thank you all in advance.

| I would say in small to moderate amounts is ok. I hear it's a bit salty or something that dogs can't have too much of. I don't think it's bad for them though. Just like how I view cheese in general, just give it as a treat every so often

| Yes it is pretty salty! I don't even like it that much for that reason lol Okay that makes a lot of sense! Thank you for your advice!

| The fat content of cheese is another reason to be cautious. Pancreatitis is a concern.

| I would only give string cheese, or other lower fat cheese. Feta is much too salty. Too much salt is not good.
