| New puppy YorkiePoo I know my puppy is not a pure-bread Yorkie, but there aren't a lot of websites out there for YorkiePoo puppies. My puppy is 14 weeks old. When we got her 2 weeks ago she was only going on puppy pads for the first day or two. Then we got serious about training her to only go outside. Luckily, we have had 2 weeks off to train her. She now goes pee/poop outside. We watch her very closely and take her out every 25 minutes and especially after sleep, drinking, eating, and play. We both go back to work this week. The problem is that she messes in her crate if we don't take her out every 25 minutes. She has no problem going in there. Crate training has been very difficult because of that. We have a dog walker scheduled to break up the day and take her out, but she won't last that long without soiling her crate. I really have no idea what to do. Any ideas or suggestions? Her trainer told us the front load the water in the morning and evening so that she doesn't have to pee so much during the day. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I would perhaps try pen training her instead...using an Iris Pen where there is just room for a bed, water, pee pad.

| I second the Iris pen- I bought the 8 panel 36" tall pen 5 years ago on amazon and have used it , lent it out and separated it to block off guest bedroom doors. Still looks new! Best investment I made (after Abby chewed thru an infant playpen in less than an hour!) |

| I agree with what the other two have said. I also use an IRIS pen, and it works great! You have their bed in there and a UGO potty, along with their water bowl, and they can pee on their ugo pad whenever they need to. You can buy both on Amazon and have them arrive in a few days.
