| Happy New Year! Question about Breeder Hi, Everyone! I am looking for a responsible breeder in MI. My partner and I live in northern Michigan and are looking to add to our family! I am willing to drive a distance 6 hours or so, but am wanting to find the best breeder in the area- one that is serious about health, the breed standard and temperament. Can anyone give some suggestions? We appreciate it and happy new year! Dan and Zach |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Hi and welcome to YT....best of luck in your search, it can be tough to find the right one. Have you tried YTCA.org yet...for show breeders? Many of them will fly their puppies to you, in cabin, for a reasonable fee...which is often worth it for the right qualities and right breeder.

| Best wishes in your search. Glad you are doing your homework. Sorry I don't have any specific breeder recommendations. I found my boys' breeder through Pet Finder or one of those sites that is not usually recommended. Took a lot of looking, and when I found my first boy's photo, I researched the breeder (now retired). Breeders who exhibit dogs are usually easier to research because there is more info on the web about them and their breeding lines. I agree with Wylie's Mom to start with YTCA site. If you have dog shows in your area, that is a good way to network and get recommendations.
