Yorkie Yakker | Yorkie suddenly afraid I experienced unusual behavior with my yorkie last night. I came home from a 12 hour shift to a happy little boy who greeted me at the front door. I was holding a basket full of laundry with the door still wide open. My husband quickly grabbed Danny before he could run out the door. Danny is a runner. Danny started whimpering. So my husband set him down thinking that he might be hurt. Danny continued to whimper two or three times afterwards. Each time after my husband or I tried to pick him up. I tried to go near him but he ran up the stairs, jumped onto our bed and hid behind a pillow. My husband and I both tried laying next to Danny and tried talking to him. We managed to bring him downstairs on a pillow. My husband tried petting Danny but Danny got up and moved next to me. He sat in my arms, with his head buried into it. This lasted until this morning. I went downstairs and noticed Danny and my husband watching tv on the couch. I'm not sure what triggered Danny's behavior. This behavior didn't start until I got home. My husband told me that they went for a walk and played for a bit before I got home. I just find it strange and it was heartbreaking to see Danny so afraid. So I was wondering if anyone has had anything similar happen to them?

| Poor guy. Is Danny back to normal now? The only time my boys have vocalized like that is when they were physically hurting. Once when Teddy was constipated, and later both boys had an incident with a neck strain.

| Glad to hear he is back to normal today. Sometimes these little guys will react to things we would never think of. Teddy was afraid of my neighbor's red Christmas lights a couple years ago. We could see the lights from my bedroom at night, so we had to sleep in the guest bedroom until they were gone.
