| I just read the title of the article and that was enough for me. When someone does cruelty towards animals, they'll probably always be a terrible person. Many psychologists talk about some people not being amendable to treatment and will always engage in certain socially deviant and unacceptable behaviours. If I'm not mistaken animal cruelty is part of the triad of behaviours that are well-linked to things like psychopathy. And bed wetting and fire starting are the other two I believe. Either way it's just terrible, and just shows a complete lack of empathy that I really have a tough time imagining. But there's certainly some very sick people out there. |

They are called sociopaths or psychopaths. There are about 20 character traits that define a sociopath. Although only psychologist are trained to diagnose someone with psychopathy, it is always good to know the traits. Even if they are not sociopaths, it is still a good idea not to hang around people with these traits. I actually knew a diagnosed psychopath and believe me you do not want anything to do with them. | |
