Does Your Dog Ever Do THIS With You? The Answer Reveals Something Amazing!

Here is one article about it. But I thought it would be fun to share your experiences with your dogs.

Magic = my senior BRT He shows love in so many ways some of which are covered in the article. But beyond that he takes my hand very gently like a robins egg into his mouth. He lays in his crate which is beside my chair so that some part of him is accessible to my random touch. He waits by the front door when it is my usual coming home time. Sometimes he wraps his paw around my leg. He is literally al,most always by my side. He lays his head on my lap and will only for me roll over unto his back. He shows me his belly! That is the most vulnerable position especially for a guard and protect breed. He allows me to access his most private and vulnerable areas - even when I have to take out his undercoat

Razzle - there is never any startle with my touch. In fact as soon as I touch him he rolls over for his belly rub. He always brings me his fav toys to play with. Razzle too is never far from me - he usually sleeps on the chair I sit in. He loves my shoes or my socks and if I am not home usually is laying upon them.

Dara - gives kisses (licks). She loves to climb into my lap even though she overflows it and it can't be comfy for her. She is the first to greet me when I awake in the morning. She is always trying to touch me somehow and way.

So that are some of the ways I think my dogs love me. What are your stories?

Lol my little Kimchi either shows me love or demands it XD If she's demanding she'll whine/cry for it, otherwise she'll do extra cute poses for me when she sees me coming to pet her. When she gets off her lazy butt, she'll come to me but at the same time she wants on my bed (or her own if ti's in my room). Then she expects me to brush her and lay by her (otherwise, she'll cry/whine).... hmm when I think of it now, she's a true diva for sure lol But she does show affection by giving me kisses and wanting me to snuggle/play with her.

One of my favorite topics! We discuss this a lot in our house.

Max is a big kisser. His signature kiss for family is 2 licks on the lips followed by a gentle 'bite' on the nose.

He does all of the things on the list.

Teddy is more reserved with kisses. He likes to receive them and will press his head against us.

Both of the boys are becoming big lap sitters.

Ted has never been a heavy cuddler so if he rolls in a ball and has some part touching you I swear he thinks that's cuddling lol! He does it to me and my parents but nobody else he'll just sit nearby everyone else. He's also on guard in our big front window sleeping and waiting for whoever is gone for the day to return or just plain out guards so if he sees one of our cars he flips out starts whining like a cry taps the window wiggles his whole butt in excitement and either finds his sock (he stole it from my dad ages ago) or his rope and jumps on the door till you come in and he drops the toy in front of you and precedes to jump until acknowledgement (I'm the only one who picks him up so he slobbers my face) but as for kisses he will hold your face and drown you if he's excited but if you say give kiss he knows I hate mouth kisses so he'll lick my whole nose but rarely does it to anyone else. I love this boy!

My yorkie, Emmie, has not shown much "love" to me and her dad....my Chi's are always wanting to be with us, snuggle, laying on me, in fact they are snoozing with my husband right now. We have had them since they were little pups.

I don't know much about how my little yorkie Emmie was raised. But I do notice that she doe's look for me and when she see's me and I can see recognition in her eyes and some excitement.
Will she ever get affectionate with us???

Piper isn't big on showing affection, per se, however when I get home, she greets me with bounces and dashes and tries to grab something to give me, but is just too excited to actually hang onto anything. She also "smiles." And frequently now, she'll just suddenly move off her blanket and sleepily crawl on my lap (melts me every time); I hope Piper loves me...I love her beyond and then some!

Mine all are huge lovers.

Kaira (chorkie) is my service dog. She takes good care of me. She'll give kisses, likes to cuddle, and does her job well. She'll roll over also. But the cutest thing I think is that she flea bites at any abnormality on the skin, which is a grooming behavior. It's very sweet and it is a huge behavior as far as canine affection goes.

My other dogs adore me just as much. <3

Chewie pretty much immediately claimed my chest as his spot to nap the first night I brought him home. He still will climb up and snooze, in fact he is right now! At night he has to be right up against me in bed. He also likes to surprise attack me and my sister with kisses occasionally.

Emma lays her head on my boobs and looks up at me and waits for me to pet her. If I don't pet her right away, she moves my hands until I do. She likes to sneak kisses but she knows I don't like them so she will only lick my daughter all over her face. Instead of kissing me she'll just lay there for a hug.

Mickey loves to touch me at all times. One day I was in my recliner and he started whining to get up so I let him , by putting down the foot part. He jumped up on the chair, ran up my body and laid down with his head on my neck and a big sigh and promptly went to sleep. I feel so loved by him.

Lola is not a lap dog, or a big cuddler but she shows affection in lots of ways, her greetings are so exuberant she practically leaps in my arms and her tail goes non stop in a circle. When I am sitting on the couch she leaps up and puts her front legs on my chest or lap and just stares at me with her tail going in circles, this makes my husband jealous cause he said she never does that with him, but what she does do to him when he is sitting on the couch is stand on her hind legs and go to town on his ears, which grosses me out so I make her stop. Also this is funny, since I am home alone in the day I don't shut the bathroom door, so whenever I go potty Lola comes running and starts pogo stick jumping until I pick her up, so the only time she wants to be a lap dog is when I am on the toilet!!

one of my former yorkies used to do the cutest thing, she like to be cradled like a baby, so I held her like that a lot. She would take her paw and gently stroke my face, I loved this show of affection so much I held her like that a lot. I had her long before cell phones and cameras that took videos, how I wish I had a video of her stroking my face, it was the sweetest thing and she did it so gentle like while looking at me with eyes filled with love, it made me feel like I hung the moon. Out of 5 yorkies that I have had she was the only one that ever did this.

A couple dogs I had a long time ago, did the smile. That was always pretty special.
