| Hey I am new here! Hello everyone! My name is Tori. It is so nice to finally find a place on the internet where I can talk and ask questions with other yorkie owners without feeling pressured or nervous. I joined this sight because I am very nervous myself! I have a ten month old yorkie female named LeiLani (we call her Lani). I know many of you may not understand why, but we planned on breeding her after her 3rd heat with a boy my mother got. I do not want to become a life time breeder at all! It is just something I really have been wanting to experience! But unfortunately....during thanksgiving break she was over at my parents house and I got a frantic phone call with my mother saying, "they are tied! they are tied!!" Ugh.... SOO now I have a ten month old (almost 11) that is most likely pregnant...I am ridiculously nervous!! Other sights like yahoo have posts saying "YOU ARE GOING TO KILL YOUR DOG!" and, "YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM!" So I am really getting worried. I am scheduled for an appointment at the vet next monday to see what is the best route for us to go. I really do not want to abort the pups but if it is best for my mama then I will.. She is 7lbs and the male is about 8lbs...I heard that it really depends on the lineage to know how big the pups will be... She eats Royal Canin breed specific dog food and is super happy and healthy...I am just a worry wart when it comes to this!! I am happy there are people here to talk to about everything and help me through this, whatever the decision may come down too. |

| Hey, Tori--Unfortunately, I cannot be of any help, but you sound very caring and loving and I'm sure your vet will be able to get everyone through this in the best possible way. So, in the meantime, try to relax, and remember that crazy, unexpected things happen to all of us! I hope it works out the way you want it to...! |
