| Yorkie acting strange Hi everyone, Hoping for some advice. My Reilly is about 4.5 months now. He has been fine all day and ate his meals with no problems. I started making plantains and as I was cooking on the stove he stayed between my feet which was really odd for him. When I moved he stayed by the stove shaking a bit. I gave him some fresh baked chicken and he ate that with no problem. The other odd thing was he just wanted to crawl up on my lap and stay by my side when normally I have to chase him down and bribe him with snacks. That behavior only lasted for a few minutes but was very odd for him. He is fine now. This was the first time I cooked plantains since I got him. I am wondering if the smell of the cooking oil could have made him feel sick? I monitor him pretty closely and have puppy proofed the house so it is unlikely he got into anything else. Any help is greatly appreciated! THANKS! |

| Any deviation from "the norm" will really affect some of these kiddos....what you mentioned could have very well be the very thing that was off kilter for him! My group gt sideways when my brother put his briefcase down in the living room, where he could plug some work related thing into a plug and be close enough to hear it is it beeped. My group have not seen a briefcase before, no a think with blinking red lights across the bottom edge....so tails and heads were hanging, and everyone was in "creep mode", punctuated with sideways glances, and cautionary behavior, waiting for that small unknown little machine to jump up and give chase! Everyone is fine now....you say your baby is also fine now....that could have very well been what was bothering/concerning him! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Like YorkieMom said, anything can/could set them off a bit. I have to wonder if it was some sort of brief digestive issue/gas or somethign like that though...
