| Macy has awful breath too. We brush every day and she gets a dental once a year. Went to the vet today and she thinks she has an infection on her chin so she said to try some antibiotics. She keeps getting food stuck in her lady beard by the corner of her mouth. We will see what happens.

YT 1000 Club Member | Do you feed them any people food? My older Yorkie has gotten people food in the past (mostly before I got him) and my puppy does not get people food except an occasional accident that falls on the floor. My daughter's puppy was given people food by my mom when my daughter was there. The older yorkie has horrid breath. My daughter's puppy has medium breath but my puppy does not have bad breath. Coincidence? Maybe, but I am going to continue to not let my puppy have people food. My daughter's does not get it now, except if she goes to my mom's house to visit and even then we tell my mom not to feed her, but she doesn't listen. Something for people with a new puppy to consider. Maybe if they never have people food their breath won't be bad like my puppy so far. He is 9 months old, so it might not continue, but I enjoy it so far. He really doesn't have bad breath like the other dogs in the house do. The other puppy is not as bad as the older dogs, but there is a difference.

| Chewie has recently developed bad breath too, was wondering if it could be teething?? I read somewhere it could be but don't know if that is true. I try to brush his teeth but he makes it extremely difficult. Thinking a trip to the vet soon!
