| can you tell how big your yorkie will get? My little girl is 10 weeks old and weigh 2.5 pounds. When I got her the breeder told me she was 12 weeks but looking at the paper it says 10 weeks. I didn't evn notice it till the vet looked at it. The breeder said she will be about 6 to 7 the vet said I think she will be small. I just thought some where I saw you can figure it out. Any help please |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | did you see the parents? an old rule of thumb was and you can't bet on it is at 8 wks - triple the weight at 12 weeks double the weight - both within a lb.

| I am not too sure if there is a way to find out! Fiona's fur parents were probably 5-8lbs, and Fiona is about 14lbs, not over weight either! Vet said she is so healthy and very muscular! LOL

YT 1000 Club Member | I use this site. It has been pretty accurate with my puppies. Find out how big your Yorkshire Terrier puppy will grow - Puppy Weight Estimates I put in the 2.5 lbs at 10 weeks and it came back saying 5 lbs 11 oz. for you puppy. Mine said about 8 lbs for one of my puppies and 9 lbs for the other. They are 9 months old and one weighs 7 1/2 lbs and the other is 8 lbs and I think they will still fill out a bit and be pretty close to that weight as adults. I think yours will stay small. My babies were 3 and 3 1/2 lbs when I brought them home at 10 weeks.
