| I went to look for a yorkie When I got there she came out with this female 5 month old yorkie. She said you don't want to go inside and get jumped on by all those big dogs. I said I had to use the bath room. She said you might not want to but she let some of the big and medium dogs outside there must have been at least 10 all kids of dogs. When I went into the bath room she had crates on top of crates with at least 2 dogs in them. I asked her a question about the color of the yorkie she said I think she will be more silver by the at it looks but I don't breed to many yorkie. I asked her why this one was for sale but the other isn't she said I'm going to breed this one the other I think will be to small. The house was filthy . Can she be reported? |

| Like I said on the other post.....find you a GOOD BREEDER FIRST! You will find a respectable, reputable breeder at dog shows....at least you may be able to get decent, honest, respectable references at a dog show.....this is a heartbreak looking for a place to happen! Hope you didnt pick up parvo germs on your feet, which you then carried back to your own house, for any baby you bring home, to catch parvo...... Last edited by Yorkiemom1; 11-06-2015 at 04:59 PM. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Yes, you could report her to the local Humane Ass'n.

| I also think after you have so many dog in MI you need to have a kennel liscense if you report her they will check to see if she has one, also if she is claiming AKC they are supposed to visit the breeder, not sure how often though

| Dog house! Wow, thank goodness you insisted on going inside!!! What kind of operation is she running? Should have some interesting mixes with all those breeds and sizes. She probably did not even know what dogs she bred your puppy from. My are the red flags flying here. It shows that unless you know the breeder very well it is very scary to buy a pup unseen in its environment. Yes, you should report her and I pray she gets cited and closed down. She is obviously a BYB with no rules for correct breeding and is just in it for the $$$ s. You sure dodged this bullet, but you should be commended for insisting you see the home. Best of luck getting your perfect pup By the way, Yorkiemom is right , who knows what was lurking in her home. I bet you felt like taking a shower after that home and bathroom visit.
