| Grooming He's finally growing hair! Ok brushing daily and bathing with people conditioner weekly. He gets matted pieces of hair on his neck and back legs. How do I get rid of this?

| What brush are you using? As per the recos I have received here, I use the metal brush and also a comb. Try to work in tiny sections and go slowly. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I would use a buttercomb / mustache comb...metal...to first pick at the matts, and then brush them out.

| Might try a detangling spray or a leave in conditioner. Most you can put in the hair even if it's dry, just enough to make it more manageable.

| Detangling Spray I use detangling spray GloCoat .. it smells good and works wonders immediately, not oily or heavy. Try a thin metal comb... double sided.. teeth wider on one side and smaller on other for second comb through. Good luck! Last edited by 1014hernandez; 11-04-2015 at 03:13 PM. |

| I use John Paul/Paul Mitchel detangling spray (from the oatmeal line), but for a more natural leave-in I use a few drops of coconut oil (organic).
