Yorkie Yakker | New puppy I currently have a 2.8 pound yorkie who will be 2 Nov 4th, we are getting an 8 week old yorkie tomorrow, Any recommendations so that they become best friends. Should the little one, who is 17 ounces be kept separate for much of the day, until they get used to each other? I do have a pack and play for the baby Lexi, so Roxie can still see her but keep them separate Is this good? |

| Congrats on your new baby!! I bet you won't sleep a wink tonight with excitement! When I got Holly I kept them together for the most part, which I was around with them all the time. Just make sure you give Roxie extra attention during their transition. They will have a ball playing together!

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | We had Wylie first, then got Marcel, then a couple years later go Pfeiffer. When Marcel and Pfeiffer were young puppies, we did keep them apart when we were gone bc they were just SO small and if they were playing with Wylie, he could accidentally hurt them, just due to their size alone. So that's what we did.
