Different, but beautiful My granddaughter is staying with us for a few days and brought her Yorkie, Murphy. Murphy and Jasmine are the same age, 6 1/2 months. They were born just one day apart. Different breeders. They look so different but both are beautiful. Jasmine probably weighs about 3 1/2 to 4 lbs. I haven't weighed her in awile. He weighs a little more. She is taller than Murphy, but he is a little longer and has shorter legs. She is more fine boned than he is. Her hair is really light blond on top now and the black hair is turning really silver. Her hair is long about 1/2 way down to the floor and very silky. His hair is black with very little silver in it. The hair around his face and legs has a reddish color. Beautiful coloring. His hair is thicker, courser and shorter than hers. It is starting to grow quite a bit more though. They look different in so many ways, but both look like so many Yorkies I have seen on this site. They are both VERY beautiful. They look so cute together playing. He is a little more shy than Jasmine. He was a little afraid of her at first and growled at her, but she was very persistant and would not leave him alone. (She has been with our Westie and he is so hyper and onery, she has picked up his bad habits) After a while they were having a ball playing and running through the house.

Cool, isn't it amazing how different they can all look. I am glad he warmed up to your girl. He needs to play with other pups. How fun for you all to have them together. Don't they just make you laugh

We did take some pictures, but just with a regular camera. Can they be scanned and put on here. Or does it have to be with a digital camera. Sorry, I'm so computer illiterate sometimes. I was born in the 1940's when camera's had just been invented and computers were not even thought of yet. If they hadn't given me one at work and made me learn how to use it I probably still wouldn't know anything about them. My kids have all the fancy camera's, scanners, etc. but I don't.

Luigi is very blond and silver and Brasco is all black and tan!!!! And thier feartures are really different too! Its so amazing!!!! That is one of the things I love about this breed!!!! How different they really are from each other!!!!

Yes - it still totally amazes me how different Yorkies can be - one from the other. We never see so many differences in any other breed - do we???? I wonder - after all is said and done - how can we account for so many different sizes, shapes, hair colors, hair textures, etc. etc. etc. in the same breed? Sometimes I think we have ten different breeds rolled into one. It's rather amazing, don't you think? I know most of us love our Yorkie pets -and never wanted a show dog - but, if you did - good luck!!!!!! Few of our Yorkies met all the Yorkie standards - right! Carol Jean
