| Curious: What was your price? When I first started looking at yorkies there wasn't one I could find under a $1000! I didn't have that much but I kept looking. Weeks had gone by and I saw an add that said they sold purbred puppies, call for the prices. I called out of curiosity and it was an elder couple who lived a state away, who was selling there last litter. The nice woman said she'd sell me her tinyest female for $700. I got her papers and everything! I named her Precious, and she truly is! I feel like I got a deal! I was just wondering what others have paid for their adorable pups!! |

| Thats are really good price compared to what I paid. For Homer i paid $850 because the breeded thought that he would be a larger Yorkie, and for Kady I just got her for Christmas and we paid & $1200 however after her vet bills I probably paid $1500 Lets just say i am very happy to have Kady away from her breeder! I got Kady in Fresno, CA and Homer here in San Diego!!

| I paid $1300 plus vet bills were are now at about at $3000. I take her in to the vet for any little thing that bothers me so that drills the hole in my pocket. I will continue to do it as long as my girl is healthy and happy. |

| Lady was 750€ ($910) and Jess was 700€ ($849),they have the same father but different breeders (the breeders are sisters). That was almost 2 years ago,now theres no way on earth that I could afford another one! They have gone up SO much in price that I feel lucky to have bought mine when I did other wise Id never be the proud owner of such a breed. Right now females are at 1,500€ ($1,821) and males are at 1400€ ($1,699),and that seems to be as cheap as they go right now I was really looking forward to getting another, but I doubt that will happen unless I win the lottery! lol. Alot of poeple have yorkies with no paperwork here and breed them, the pups are alot cheaper. The vet bills arent an isuue though because I have pet insurance.I pay 50€ ($60) a year and thats it..no vet bills We get what looks like a credit card and they pass it through a mechine on each visit. It covers everything. | Wow! Which pet insurance company are you using? What is the deductible? Does it cover everything? Are they in all states as I live in Florida?

| Im in spain and Its great because it covers everything from surgery (including spaying or neutering) shots, check ups,x-rays,dental work, analisis etc etc.In case of death due to a human error (fingers crossed) you also get a sum of money to (I asume) replace the dog. I take good advantage of my girls insurance,I take them in every couple of weeks to be weighed and to have their nails cut etc,and every few months I take them in for rutine blood work and other tests just to make sure everything is ok.Also, when Jess goes into heat I take her in for a special test (I dont know what its called in english) to make sure that she ovulates when she should and to make sure all is going well (this is because I plan on breeding her one day). Its a great thing to have. |

| We were suppose to pay the breeder 1200 but she gave us a discount for some reason and so we got Jeremiah for 700. But we haven't gotten his papers yet.

| I paid 600 for my male and that was a good price for my male but I hsve had alot of vet bills for him also because he has terrible allergies. I paid 1200 for my female and I thought that was alittle high.

| You can get pet insurance from some companies here, like AKC, but not all vets will take it and it does not cover as much as what they have in Spain and other European countries. It would be great if we had something like they do - maybe we would not have as many strays or unwanted puppies or places like the Humane Societies would not have to put so many puppies down. So sad! My male was 2,300. T. |

| I paid 1000 for Trixie. My parents paid 1250 for Abby and 350 for Cody. (Cody was a special case though, we got him from a friend/breeder we'd worked with...a good friend of my Dad's. The 350 was just was invested cost on their behalf was.) |
