Senior Yorkie Talker | Dosen't like wet paws All my Yorkies do not like to get thier paws wet, when it is raining Chloe will not go out at all, if I open the door and she sees it is wet or raining she will just run to her bed. If I take out Abby she will just stand there doing nothing and wants me to pick her up. So I always have a couple of pee pads at the door, but they will go out if there is snow. I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this about there little doggies |

| Anna and Willie are both like this. They spazz out if it's the least bit wet, even if it's just morning dew. Then, there's Barney. He loves to be outside in any kind of weather.

| Sometimes I wish I had that issue. Teddy has no problem with rain. He zooms right out the door does his business, but continues to just walk around enjoying the rain lol. |

| Buddybear puts the brakes on if he sees it is wet. I have to pick him up and take him to a spot under the tree that is still dry to get him to go. Then he will walk back to the door. I keep trying to get him to use a pee pad in bad weather, but noooooo he has to make life more difficult by being Stubborn! Arghhhh. |

| Lexi doesn't like getting her feet wet in the rain, but is okay with the snow. Unfortunately, here we get a lot more of the wet, than the snow. Silly pups! |

| Ours aren't crazy about rain either. Sally almost never potties outside anyway, and Snoopy doesn't mind puppy pads if the weather is bad. Snoopy still asks to have the door opened, just won't go outside. It's a sliding glass door, so he doesn't need it open to see out, but maybe he wants to smell and hear what's going on. Gotta make sure no squirrels are getting ready to attack!?

| My past 4 girls would go out in rain, this adopted boy is the opposite, I open the door, he smells the rain and refuses to go out. I have a large deck with a good size roof over the door, bad weather I let him use the deck, so I'll pick him up, set him outside and close the door and watch him, Once he sees the door is closed he will make. He is trained to go outside, he knows what the pee pads are for, just will not use them lol, silly dogs lol.

| Brandi hated rain. If she had to go outside in the rain she would stand there frozen shaking like I was torturing her for making her potty outside. Um.....she won that battle, that's when I got potty pads. Now Duchess would go outside in a tornado, hurricane, blizzard, earthquake, or flood. She doesn't care about being wet at all but then again, she is a little tomboy anyway. Nothing at all prissy about her. Last edited by yavenay; 10-01-2015 at 09:30 AM. |
