| Newbie here Hello, I am new to the forums, and I thought I might introduce myself. I do not have a Yorkie of my own at the moment. I had one when I was younger. He was my heart dog. His name was Oliver. He was my shadow, my best friend. When my mom lost her job (Place sold out and fired all the employees) we had to move into an apartment that didn't allow pets, so we had to find him a new home. It took me many many years to get over it, as silly as that sounds. So I was recently struck with puppy fever, and the only breed I really want is a Yorkie. I would really like to get into conformation, as I have been bit by the show bug also lol I have a 2 and a half year old English Bulldog named Eloise M.Wrinklebottom, or Ella for short, although sometimes she responds to naughty doggy (In jest lol) and sometimes she doesn't respond at all lol I also have 3 cats. Minnion (Or Minnie) the only female kitty, and the Diva of the house lol Herbert (Or Herbie) the trouble maker, and Castiel (or Cas) The baby of the family, and my little shadow lol Taken from his mamma way way to early, and given to someone who worked 12 hour shifts, and had a toddler. she couldn't give him the time and attention he needed, since he was barely able to eat canned food. I had recently fostered a baby kitty that had to be bottlefed, so I took him in, and became mamma, and now he refuses to let me out of sight lol Well, now that I have written a book about myself, I look forward to meeting all of you, and your fur, feather, and scaled babies lol |

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Welcome to YT! I hope you hang out for a while and get a Yorkie! One thing I discovered is we can have many heart dogs in our lives. Don't limit yourself to one! Every Yorkie I meet is a heart dog!

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk. I'm sorry you had to go through the heartbreak of rehoming Oliver. I love your Bullldog's names. I agree with Mike about heart dogs. Two here.

| I just haven't found another dog that fit me as perfectly as Oliver did, Although Cas (The kitty in my pic) is pretty close lol I fully intend to bring a Yorkie into my home as soon as possible lol I do plan on showing though, so I have a bunch of research ahead of me first. The ins and outs, and blood lines, and all that fun stuff =) I have a thread in the showing forum, full of questions lol It took a long time for me to be ready to add another Yorkie to the family. I didn't want to try and replace him, or end up getting one and expecting it to be just like him, or have that connection. Part of me also felt as though maybe I didn't deserve another one, since I failed in keeping him. |

| Thank you =) I love the series Supernatural, and well he was the same tan as the trench coat the Character Castiel wears, and had the same blue eyes lol He's my little loverbug. He gets so upset if I go where he can't. He screams and screams outside the door. When he was just littlebitty, he would sleep on my chest, right under my chin while I was in the tub. such a weird boy lol |

| Welcome to YT, you can NEVER replace a pet, each one has it's own personality. I do hope you find your lil show baby and fall head over heels in love with it. You will know when you meet that special lil him or her. Sometimes life throws a monkey wrench into our lives and we have no choice in the matter. I am sure Oliver has a wonderful and loving home, don't blame yourself.Good luck in your quest of finding that perfect lil baby.
