| How big Got my adorable Yorkie from a man in a parking lot who said he was born on April 9, but the vet says maybe April 20, 2015. Yikes. He's already 6 + pounds at about 5 months -- I love him, but what can I expect -- about 10 pounds or more????? He's perfect, no matter what size -- smart, sweet, loving! |

It is hard to say really because Yorkies grow at different rates .. Normally they are full grown by 1 yr to 1 1/2 years.. My boy was about 6 pounds at 5 months , I just weighed him this morning and he is 10 pounds and a few ozs. & he is almost 4 years old .. | |

YT 1000 Club Member | I highly doubt any vet can predict the week a puppy is born unless it is a very young puppy. My puppies were born on March 9th, so a month before yours and I do not think a vet could guess what week they were born at this point, maybe put them at being around the 5-6 months age but not what week they were actually born. My puppies are 7 lbs 2 oz and 7 lbs 5 oz and they turned 5 months on Aug 9th. My vet it projecting one puppy to be around 9 lbs and the other to be about 10 lbs. We love them dearly even though they are not tiny little ones. Good luck with yours and enjoy!

| It is hard to predict size on a Yorkie unless you see the parents .....my yorkies were always on the small size... 4 lbs but were all solid ....Years ago we did have a litter and I was very careful to find a small male...puppies were small and topped off at 4-1/2 pounds....they weighed 8 oz at birth .... |
