YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Gotta love those pups of ours All my dogs are little piggies when it comes to food. But to get them to eat almost anything - stand at the counter and when you are doing your veggie prep give one each a treat of a veggie. They gobble it up. Even our princess who spit out a zucchini slice at the market last Friday - happily gobbled up a slice handed to her from my kitchen counter. Beefsteak tomatoes? No problemo Moms - raw carrot and potatoe yums yums. I am talking a bit of a break - and all the pups surround my chair as they know Moms is going to go back into the kitchen again!

| My little bugger only has an appetite for everything that is bad for her. She does love cucumbers though. I have to mix boil chicken with her food to get her to eat. However since her spay, she has turned into Miss Piggy. |

| Magnus will eat anything but Zoey.. not so much. She's not a veggie kinda gal. If given, she'll take it but once she realize it's veggie, she'll spit it out. LOL But there are times when she will eat it just b/c she doesn't want Magnus to have it. Such a brat! |

| Whenever I'm chopping in the kitchen Buddybear is right there. If I don't acknowledge him he jumps on my leg and sits down waiting. He trys just about everything but spits it out if it doesn't suit him. Loves carrots, but not all the time. He has tried cucumber, squash of various types, but most of those end up on the floor unless he sees me putting it in my mouth! That's ok, he is so comical about it I just pick the pieces up off the floor. He does however like to stand on his tippy toes and snag the corn shucks from the kitchen trash......then the chase is on to get it away from him, usually I have to get the "big stick" and tap it on the floor with the command of leave it.LOL |

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | Plain veggies or meat is okay to give them in small little tiney amounts. What you don't want to give is highly spiced meats or veges or desserts or gravy soaked food. Many dogs are on either a raw diet or a home cooked diet which is real foods - not processed frozen dried or dehydrated out of the ying yang.

| lol my jack and yorkie have a spite eating as well, where they will eat it just because the other is there or trying to get it. Both of them, especially my yorkie, will hang out in the kitchen and whine for food when we are preparing food. Sometimes I give them some and sometimes not depending on what I cook.

| My guys love celery now. They have decided that it is their food. I can't believe that they love it so much.

YT 500 Club Member | Izzy love's lettuce. And you can't break out any cashews or sunflower seeds without them losing their ever loving minds to get some. And Welch's strawberry fruit snacks. If I leave a bag of any of the above out, they will get it when I leave the house. Even if I put it up high, Toby always uses his Sumo yorkie powers to manage to get to it somehow. I need a hidden camera cause he amazes me with his ability to reach high things when it cmes to food. |
