| Help! I need advice... I have a bad case of puppy fever! I am so happy and things are so easy with My 5 year old Yorkie, Charlie. I'm an empty nester now, divorced and I Work from home. Out of the blue, about a week ago, I decided another Yorkie would be so fun and just what I needed. Am I nuts? Will Charlie be jealous? He's my shadow and loves being King!! Someone either bring me to my senses or encourage me. Charlie is so perfect - trained, lovable and SO easy! A new sweet Yorkie puppy makes me feel happy though...knowing the expense and the difficulty of house breaking. 🙈 I'm on the fence! What do ya'll think? Thanks!! |

| If you feel Charlie will not be aggressive towards a new furbutt I say go for it. At one time I had a pack of 3, all 3 years apart, all females, they were loving little girls, all socialized with animals and ppl, I never had a fear one of my girls would not accept a new sister. Puppies are so much fun, and if Charlie is not dog aggressive, with-in several weeks he will be playing with his new little brother or sister. Good luck.

| You are absolutely right. A 2nd puppy is expensive. It is time consuming. It s difficult. It is the best thing we ever did.

| I say go for it. I've had my new pup for a month now and I never had any regret. My two are both under a year but they get along great. The expense was worth it for me and the pup has brought alot of joy to my home and I don't feel as guilty leaving Paris at home anymore because she has a playmate. I looked for a really long time before I found Armani but I knew it the second I saw him that he would be mine. When I first saw the pictures from the breeder he stood out to me and I continued to look because he was priced above what I wanted to pay but no other pup could compare to him so my budget went out the window and now I couldn't be happier. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Um, I have FOUR dogs now....so I will *totally* enable you here ! No really though, I think having another buddy could be great. And sure, Charlie may become needy and jealous and confused for a while, but all will be well in the end...

| I think if you have the time and energy (plus money) it takes to have a new puppy in your little family "GO FOR IT". If I could I would get a second furbaby !!! I am limited by money and energy (I'm 71),but I would love to have another, so needless to say I vote "YES" to the question of whether or not to get another baby !!! |

| I love both my girls and did my best to choose Abby to compliment Zivas personality but they really have never gotten over being jealous. That being said it does make for more interesting times. Ziva has been forced to do more than be attached to me. |
