| Google Photo Search helps in shopping for puppies! Just thought I'd share my experience. I joined Yorkie Talk because my wee girl passed away. It was sudden and could have been prevented had our vet been on the ball. I was devastated. That was three months ago. I was really depressed and absolutely couldn't look at her pictures without falling apart so I came here to look at your babies. I also was searching for a reputable breeder because at some point I will get another wee one. Someone was kind enough to send me a link for two Yorkies. They were tiny and that was okay because I'm always at home and we're used to the tiny dog shuffle. I was thrilled. Everything and I mean everything looked legitimate. I chatted with the man at length and my husband and I discussed it, deciding that we would take both pups. It was quite soon after Charlie died but I figured caring for new little ones would help heal me. Despite all of this, something was bothering me. I thought it was just feeling like I was missing Charlie and should wait. Don't know what prompted me, but I decided to run his puppy photos through the Google image search. Wow. The puppy pictures were all over the place, originating from a different breeder entirely... who just happened to be a puppy mill (my opinion). Boy, did we dodge a bullet. But what a wonderful thing to be able to check out pictures in this manner when you aren't sure of a breeder. I know there are a lot of scams out there. Just thought I'd share. P.S. I'm still looking for a puppy and hopefully I'll find a little one here at Yorkie talk. |

You will find the right little one...just keep using your common sense and good instincts. You'll have a new 'wee' one (so cute) soon and all will be right in the world! |

| Thanks so much, JKpal. Yes, at some point everything will be right in my world again. It's getting easier as we go. These little ones sure do steal your heart and take a huge part with them when they leave. Each new one gives you all of theirs to cherish. Yorkies really are the best! |

| I am sorry for your loss of your girl. Great job researching the puppy pictures and not becoming a victim of further heartbreak. Excellent advice to research thoroughly.

YT 1000 Club Member | I used the Google Image Search all the time when looking for a Birman lol. Alot of scams of purebred cats as well as dogs. Your best bet when searching for a pup is by recommendations from other owners. Good luck in your search! |
