| What lines is this puppy out of? The weight of any puppy is determined not only by the weight of the actual parents, but mostly what is behind the parents for 8-9 generations.....what weights are you looking at there? As International Champs., the breeder will have this information available....she is tiny at that age.....if her parents are Int.Ch, are you looking for a breeder? | @yorkiemom1, what do you mean by *what line is this puppy out of*? you mean like pedigree? i have her parent's pedigree and all, if that's what you mean... but it doesn't show their weight.. :/ i'm asking the breeder for more infos, but i'm still waiting on her response.. she replies back like couple days after... -_-; Last edited by Deviruchi; 08-03-2015 at 02:29 PM. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | She is almost 5 mths old now, so I wouldn't expect she'd get much bigger than 3.5-4.5 lbs as a full adult.

| You can find alot of information by going to Yorkshire Terrier World Pedigree Database (ingrus.net/york/en/index.php) but you need to have information on your own pups pedigree and you just keep working your way back thru the pedigree.... |

| @Wylie's Mom, when do the yorkie pups stop growing though? kupo is about 6 months and he's about 6lbs. not sure if he's going to get any bigger or not.. o.o @Yorkiemom1, i've went through ingrus but i didn't see their weight listed still waiting on the breeder's msg.. even the breeder who recommended me to her said that she's kinda slow on responding back... meh :/ |

YT 2000 Club Donating Member | As YorkieMom said the weights will not be listed on ingrus. Your gal is unlikely to make 5lbs full grown unless the line she comes from are late maturers

| @gemy oh hi, erm, i saw some dogs who had their weight listed on ingrus and was confused to see why this breeder's dogs' weights weren't listed.. was looking at this other pup too... and apparently its 4.5 months and weighs about 2lbs also... with parents weighing 5-6 as girls did.. i'm wondering why the pups are so small when the parents are normal weight.. i mean kupo is already at his expected weight now according to breder and he's going to be 6 months soon.. o.o i really want them both, but i didn't want a pup that was too small.. :/ |

My youngest male's mother is 8/9 lbs. Weight wise she's big but with the right male she consistently produces 4-6 lb pups. So don't just look at the dog that you're interested in, look at all the lines behind that particular pup. My oldest stopped growing length/height wise at about 7 months, he still filled out a bit weight wise until a little over a year.I | |
