| 1st season Hi, When my labrador came into season it was sooo obvious. Her vulva was VERY noticeablly swollen from behind and quite honestly looked disgusting. Penny is 8mth she is a pug x yorkie and I have noticed the last 2 weeks her back end looks sort of swollen but only because im looking for it. Her fur covers it. Today I laid her on her back to get her and her vulva was bleeding a tiny drop. So obviously in season. I assume not been bleeding long? Im just confused because with my lab it was soooo noticeable. Could she have been bleeding a while? Thanks

| Each female is different. Smaller dogs don't usually bleed a whole lot, they mainly spot a little here and there. She could of been bleeding for a while. Usually you will notice some spotting on bedding or pads where they lay down.
