| puppy?? does anyone know where i can get a yorkie in the houston area for a really cheap price? i can only spead about $150-$200. I was originally going to get one from the humane society but i was the 2nd applicant so i didnt get her . |

| One thing you need to consider, Dyan, is that Yorkies tend to be expensive to keep. Vet bills tend to be higher with them than with most breeds. And, then there's grooming... So, if you really want a Yorkie, be sure you set aside some funds for "upkeep", okay?

| look @ some rescue sites or put an ad in the paper (there are a few people out there who got pups for Christmas who decide not to keep them). However, as mentioned before Yorkies are expensive to keep. One you'll probably have to have some of there baby teeth pulled around 6 month, and of coarse you'll want to get it fixed about that time also. Then since yorkies are prone to weak teeth there is that twice a year cleaning by the vet, which they do knock them out for.
