Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Wow, what a total CUTIE ! Are there any other symptoms like paw licking or chewing? If yes, then it's likely she has allergies and it's affecting her eyes. You may want to seek medication for the symptoms. If the area is very smelly and always wet, she may have a fungal issue there - like yeast/candida.

| I learned from this forum a while back to only give Joni baby water instead of tap water. The difference was amazing and each time she's gone off of it for a day or two, the soggy eyes come back. I just bought another gallon today: Gerber Pure - got it in the baby food section of grocery store blue/purplish label. Around $1 for a gal. I second Wylies' Mom's suggestion of allergy testing, but this could be a quick thing to try first. Good luck! |

| Just noticed you're in UK - perhaps they have something similar, if not this brand. It is intended to be mixed with dry mix formula for human babies. It also has no fluoride. |

| I will have a look round although it will be very difficult to seperate her water from our other dogs water. Is it common for pugs or yorkies to have runny eyes?

| Is it possible that she could have little hairs irritating her eyes causing them to tear up? She looks very well groomed but my pup was also and he had the same type of problem and upon very close inspection I saw the little hairs were touching his eyes irritating them so I carefully cut the hairs and problem was solved. |
