Default Tibbe

So sorry to hear about your diagnosis and upcoming surgery dear Jeanie. Praying all will go well and you will soon be healed and home again with your baby.
How very kind of Chibiluv and LadyJane to offer to foster him while you are incapacitated. How lovely to have the caring folks in Y.T.
Hoping all works out with Chibiluv, but how comforting to know that LadyJane will care for Tibbe if it does not work out.
So hope now you have a foster for your dear Tibbe that you are feeling relieved and able now to concentrate on YOU and what is to come.
Try and get plenty of rest and good food and be strong for the ordeals ahead.
Thinking of you and sending prayers for a successful surgery and a quick recovery.
Love and hugs, Dot xxxxx

It's not the number of dogs - the more the merrier to Tibbe - but I think most of the vet manager's are bigger dogs and that really worries me as the time grows closer, you know. Just worried she would be able to keep him physically safe from bigger, rowdy dogs as he loves to get right in the middle of play. With my son's big American Bulldog, when Danny still lived in Dallas with his big Tex, a dog which could crush him with a paw, he'd just get right into Tex' midst and begin to rollover, play-bow and jump on Tex's legs and belly, paw at him playfully - so happy - and only the fact that Danny, who knows dogs so well, was down on the floor right beside them and has Tex trained to obey instantly kept me from having a heart attack, though I never was that relaxed with them attempting to play together. But Danny would watch Tex' facial expression, ears, body language and could predict when to call him off.

Tex, though, is a kind of dog whisperer himself and would roll over on his back or get down on his tummy to play with Tibbe as if he sensed he was fragile and tiny. Still, he's a big, dominant bulldog and certain things would trigger an intense focus on Tibbe that Danny would quench and remove Tibbe until Tex was recalcitrant and calm, would walk over to Tibbe and seem to try to make it right. Tibbe never knew anything had almost maybe happened - just pinned his ears back, squinted his eyes up in happiness and jumped back into things, so happy to have another dog around. He's never met another dog he didn't love.

Don't know if other bigger dogs would have that sensibility, restraint and level of training and I'm so scared of my Tibbe getting his back hurt with a huge paw or bigger, stronger dog landing atop his little back and hurting him. I'd just die. I would. Couldn't stand it that he got hurt because I left him in an unsafe situation. So I worried myself into 2 sleepless days and nights until I decided I had to turn to YT and just see if a Yorkie-lover out there could help out. Other Yorkie owners know what they are like - how careless they are and the total lack of judgment or fear of falling off furniture they can show when in prey drive or excited.

Chibiluv has so very kindly offered to take him and we're in the process of making arrangements. She fosters dogs in trouble so I know she's a kind-hearted, caregiver/doglover who is seemingly always out to help a dog in need. And she knows Yorkies and toy dog care! If it works out, I'll be eternally grateful to Veronica for taking my Tibbe in and giving him safehaven while his mommie is trying to get fixed and functional again. But should something come up in her life at the last minute and she can't take him, I'd love to have a back-up and not have to resort to vet boarding or the vet manager if we don't have to.
Very sweet of Chibiluv!! She is closer and I am sure would be much better; but do know I will be here if you ever need me to be.

I hope all goes well for you with your health issues...will keep you in my prayers.

All your sweet thoughts, offers to help and support once again are making this latest bout of troubles a little lighter - just having you all out there pulling for me and praying, offering what help you can means the world anytime but especially right now. It's so good to have a whole group of kind people rooting for me. Have been a healthy person all my life and these last 2 years have been hard to face - like my body has turned on me! But thankfully good doctors are out there to get us through.

My surgery is scheduled for Monday July 6th and I'll maybe in the hospital up to a week, lesser if things go really well. I'll sure appreciate any prayers and good thoughts sent my way as it's so wonderful to know there are people out there pulling for me. Got to get fixed and back home, able to take care of my Tibbe boy. He's been like a fur stole lately, never leaving my side for hours at a time until I peel him off. I know he senses something is wrong and for weeks he's been staring at me for long, long periods but not reacting to any of the things I've asked him if he needs. Kinda wondering if he smells this thing or what. He's not let me go to another room unaccompanied for weeks - he's there watching me no matter what. He's such a comfort and loving companion, especially now. Can't wait until this is over and I can feel like playing with him again. I chase him round the house now but believe me, my heart isn't in it as my right side begins to hurt and I'm soon back sitting down and he's disappointed. Still, when I get him up on the couch, I'll turn him over in my lap or just beside me and play "Getcha getcha getcha" by grabbing him all over with my fingers as I'm saying that over and over. Then he playbites me, wags his little tail to answer the "attack". He just eats that up - loves a good fight. Love your Yorkies, ladies, they are our best friends!

Gotta go - he's circling around needing to go outside to potty. Back later. Love you one and all. ♥

Oh Jeanie...my heart breaks for you, having to face so much right now, and having to worry about so much. On top of that, worrying about taking care of your dear Tibbe. Always know that I'm here to care for him if you needed it, even though I know I'm not near/ideal.

You are such an essential part of this community and dear to so many here, so I know you have a boatload of good thoughts, prayers, wishes, love, and hugs going up into the universe on your behalf. Always remember that! Always know that there is a battalion of yorkie warriors fighting right along beside you to get you well and keep you well. Lots of love and {{{{{hugs}}}}}!

I am so sorry you are going through all this. Also, glad you have a plan while you recuperate. I live in Kentucky, which is far from you, but if you need someone I would be glad to help, somehow, someway. You both are in my thoughts and prayers.

Jeanie, I am happy to hear Tibbe will be cared for by such a compassionate lady. You can put your mind at ease for him. Now, you can soak up all the prayers we have for your surgery to be successful and you have an uneventful complete recovery.

As Ann said, I, for one, have looked to you for much needed advice and friendship when I needed it. You are in my prayers and thoughts, my friend. Hugs to you, Dyan

Prayers are being sent up for you. For good news, quick healing & a calm & peaceful spirit. It is wonderful that someone close by is going to foster your sweet pup until you are able to feel strong enough to care for him yourself. I know this is what you want.
((hugs))

All our prayers and love to you, I do know a little of what you are going through we are doing a cancer battle ourselves and some days Bella is our only bright spot as I know your baby is to. I am so glad you have found a loving place for him to wait for you. You will be back together again very soon. Hugs Deb.
