| The fun you are missing out on! It does help reduce calculus and tartar, and helps keep the gums healthy. Some dogs are prone to dental problems more than others (just like humans), but I think all dogs can benefit from brushing.

| I'm still envious. My boys want nothing to do with the sonicare when it is on.

| Another reason to visit Lisa: to see the 8th wonder of the world, a Yorkie who doesn't mind the sonicare toothbrush.

YT 1000 Club Member | I tried to brush Teek's teeth one time. I am pretty sure I have scars from that! I can do anything else to that dog. He will patiently stand there for an hour while I groom him. Baths are a breeze. Brushing him out... anytime I want. Nail trims, no problem. I attempted to brush his teeth and ended up with a Yorkie on my head and scratches going all the way up from my lap to the top of my head. I had never seen him freak out over anything before or since then. It was quite the adventure that will not be repeated. We are working with the puppies to try to get them used to it so they won't freak out like that.

| Ugh. Uni used to LOVE getting brushed. She used to brush her teeth herself! I'd just put her CET on her brush and she's go chew on her brush. Nowadays she hides when I say "toothbrush" I don't know what gives. Toto doesn't mind it bc he thinks it's food. I still need to do it more often. They only get it twice a week if I'm good. :/

| What is CET? I tried brushing Buddybears teeth and typical Yorkie attitude....you can't make me do it. Another waste of money on a doggie product he doesn't like. I gave up. His groomer is offering teeth brushing so that might be my option. |

| We use CET and both tolerate it, notice I didn't say like. I know Bubba can open wide because he smiles. They also don't care for pedicures and to Sissy the only thing worse is the vet trying to take her temperature. She clamps her little nub down and the vet usually just gives up.

| A report about daily teeth brushing: I've been brushing Dolly's teeth daily for 11 years & she fights me every time like she thinks she'll get away from me (she never has). She's really tiny & I can't imagine having an average sized Yorkie act like this! Dolly's only a bit over 3 lbs. & has a very tiny mouth & teeth. She's only had one cleaning, which has been OK with all her vets. More than half of her teeth have fallen out naturally. Our new vet was amazed at how clean & odor free her mouth is, even though she has a couple loose teeth. Teena was 2 when I got her, she's 7 now, & I've brushed her teeth every day since I've gotten her. She's an angel! It's been 3 years since her last cleaning & her teeth have stayed clean. She's the same size as Dolly but her jaw & teeth are bigger so I have hopes she retains her teeth a longer than Dolly.

| This sounds like my house! Every time I try to brush their teeth, they wear their toothpaste. I finally gave up while they still had baby teeth and decided to wait until they were all gone, which is going to be any day now. Then the fight will start again!

| Mine likes her teeth brushed because she likes licking the peanut butter flavred paste. I use a toothbrush with a tiny brush on it to get the back teeth. The finger brush I use on the front teeth because her mouth is so small. Susan |
