| Hello YT! Russ and Denise here with Bella, our beautiful new gift in our lives. Denise bought her for her grandson but the child's mother said that she was having allergic reactions and so the granddog became our little wiggling bundle of joy. We are working through some problems, so in the end it was probably best that we ended up with her. We are both dog people who haven't had a dog in too long. Life is just better with a furry child! So from all of us, to all of you, Hello! |

| Welcome Russ, Denise and Bella to YT! Bella is a cutie. I am sorry that your gift had to be returned to you but glad that you were happy to take Bella back. I am wondering; what type of allergy symptoms did Bella cause? My daughter has severe allergies to dogs but can have a yorkie.

| Personally, I think she had a bad case of I don't want to deal with a new puppy even though it makes my son a very happy boy - itis. But so much the better for us! Actually, I have been told that Yorkies are one of the most hypo allergenic dogs that one can get. But I haven't fact checked that or anything. |

I would agree they are good with people for allergies!!! I have severe allergies and even dogs with super short hair cause me to go into a scratchy eye, sneezing fit!!! But since I have had Cooper I havent had any trouble with my alleriges which is what I was worried about happening!!! He can be all around my face and nothing happens!! I think you are right about just not wanting a puppy because they are a big responsibility!!!! Lucky for you guys because she is super cute!!!

| Well congratulations on that beautiful little puppy! I swear I don't think there is anything cuter than a Yorkie puppy I was once told to never give a pet to someone as a gift unless you are 100% prepared to have that pet grow up in your house, lol. Well, the same thing happened to me as you. My dad used to go crazy for one of my lil Shih Tzus..he babysat her, would come take her out for the day, lol..just like he did with my human kids. So one year my husband thought, why don't we get your dad his own lil Shih Tzu, so he stops stealing Maggie……we got one for his birthday. He LOVED him (male pup) took him home and 2 days later I was the proud mother of that very same puppy, lol. Oh well, I think I secretly hoped thats how it would work out, haha. |

YT 1000 Club Member | I hope that the grandson will still get to come visit her at your house. Sorry it didn't work out. I love that Yorkies are hypoallergenic. I have heard that a few people can't be around them, but I don't know. I am just glad it all worked out in the end and that you are willing to keep her. She is adorable! Congrats on getting to raise the grand puppy, I will be doing the same thing starting next week when my daughter gets her new puppy (I am getting the brother to the puppy, which will make it odd). lol

| Thank you to everyone. We are both dog lovers who have held off from getting one because the condo we live in doesn't really have anywhere we can let a dog run and be a dog. I think that this was the blessing that we needed. Now we just have to get her fully healthy. Our first vet thought she might have been born with a heart defect. She has a cough that isn't caused by the normal issues in Yorkies. We have since located a vet that is a Yorkie owner and breeder so we are working with someone who has the same passion for them that we now possess. The grandson will be visiting when we know she is in good health and can handle the rigors of his visit... but most likely, he will be more interested in the Play Station 4 most of the time. |

| LOL. I had to laugh when I read that your grandson will probably be more interested in the PS4 than Bella! I am sorry to hear that Bella is sick What a marvelous thing to find a vet who is not only a yorkie owner but also a breeder! I hope she can figure out what is causing Bella's cough. I hope you find out that it isn't anything serious. Have you contacted Bella's breeder to let her know that something is wrong with her?
