YT 1000 Club Member | Anyone's Breeder Ever Wanted To Buyback Puppy? Laveau and I went to visit my breeder a few days ago since we were in the area. My breeder gushed over Veau and wanted to buy her back...weird huh??? Of course I said no! She did tell me next time she breeds Veau's parents she'll have to keep a puppy since she likes Veau's look and temperament. Has a breeder ever offered to purchase a puppy back that they've sold to anyone here(with no health issues)? |

| Nope. My breeder always gets first choice and I have to fix mine. So it wouldn't do her any good |

| Well, aside from the contract saying they'll take the pup back if we couldn't keep them for some reason, no. Hadn't had any breeders outright offer to buy them back, lol I would also be like "uhh.. no " It would be weird, but at the same time it's almost flattering in a way. That they admire your furbaby that much to want them back.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Marcel's breeder seemed to almost imply to me once that she regretted selling Marcel bc he was "probably the cutest one she's ever seen", but he's ALL MINE ! He has my heart, and I have his.

| Great compliment, but how could anyone give up their puppy whom they have bonded with? I'm glad you said no.

| No way could I ever give either one of mine up. Well, maybe when Bubba was a shoe eating, toilet paper shredding, rug peeing, hand biting, underwear and sock steeling, purse raiding puppy, I did think about it.

| Oh, yeah! Ours can finally be left out for more than 20 minutes without doing any of those things. Well, except Millie, who loves to find the end of the toilet paper and run into the other part of the bathroom with it! Okay, we laugh at that, too. . .

| I don't think my breeder meant anything by this but she thought both puppies from Emma's litter we're show quality. She suggested we try junior showmanship for my daughter and if we did we would do a co-ownership since Emma wouldn't be spayed. I was honored that we got a puppy she thought so highly of but I think she didn't keep her for herself and because Emma possibly grow to have a safe birth.
