| So much can be learned from this missing dog story This is not about a Yorkie, but with so many missing dogs, so much can be learned from this story. Thankfully it has a happy ending. Tear jerker though as I read through it. Dachshund stuck underneath concrete slab for 13 days rescued in Derby | The Wichita Eagle The Wichita Eagle

| Wow, what a story! I can't even imagine how they felt when she went missing like that....but, her little brother saved her life!! If Thor didn't keep going to that spot the owners never would have been curious or thought to have looked for something like that. Thats just a plain miracle!! Good to see a happy ending!! |

| I love this story because it has a happy ending. Poor girl must have suffered so, but her brother found her! |

| Poor dogs - they have to be watched like hawks! It's so scary how totally unpredictable they are and how many ways they can find to get into trouble. I hope her corneal ulcer heals okay. Brother tried his best to help get her out of her predicament. I'm so glad she's made it through that horrible ordeal - must have been awful for her. You know she must have gone nuts every day when she heard mom and dad out and about, so near, calling and talking and so near and she couldn't get to them. Don't you know she wondered why they didn't come get her? They think we know everything and she must have wondered why. So glad she found enough energy to arf at the right time. Great story with so many lessons for everyone who has a dog!

| I am glad that this had a happy ending. BUT I do hope however that they just don't put the dog's outside and go off to work again. I hope the owners have learned their lesson on this.

| They interviewed the family today. Here is the video. I'm just amazed that dog survived so long. Dachshund rescued after spending 13 days trapped under concrete slab | KSN-TV

| How sad and scary I am glad it turned out alright in the end...I remeber reading someone's traumatic story here in YT whose York was lost and ended up having been trapped beneath her bed mattress and died even in your own home I suppose. This is hard for me to be shuddering with vivid imagination right now....glad she is okay now.
