| Age Okay I have always been one to calculate age of a puppy by going by weeks and Trinket is 41 weeks old. 10 months and 1 week the way I calculate as making every 4 weeks a month. I have always done this because of the weight charts. Now if I went by months this month on the 19th she would be 10 months old as she was born June 19th 2014. Now this site says she is 9.4 months old also. I am like so utterly confused right now....Age Calculators |

| Right now she is 9.4 months old, or roughly 9 1/2 months, and on the 19th she'll be 10 months old. There are more than four weeks in a month (other than February), so the more months out you count, the greater the rounding error you are going to get, as you're starting with an error and then compounding the error.

| 7x52=364 so that one, 52 weeks in a year, is close enough even though there are 365 days in a year, except 366 during leap year. 52/12=4.33333333333 That is your average weeks per month. Use 4 1/3 or 4.33 instead of 4 and your numbers will match up. |
