| Does your pup go wild with their bed Just wondering how many of you have pups that like to attack their bed like Lola does. Lola is toy crazy and will bury and drop her toys in all sorts of places. Her favorite place to hide her toy is driving me crazy, because it is destructive. She has a lot of plush type ring beds, plus some beds with a loose pillow, she will push the toy under the bed or under the pillow so the toy is covered. Then she stands on top of the bed and starts digging and scratching like a madman, then while standing on it, she grabs it with her mouth and starts trying to lift it up, which of course is hard, since she is standing on it, but she still manages to pull it up and down like in a frenzy, then she gets off it and starts dragging it around, then she flips it back over again. Once she gets in this mood I pick the bed up off the floor. If they have a nylon type bottom I have sometimes duck taped it back together, for beds with loose pillows I put Velcro on the pillow and the bed to keep her from tearing the pillow from the bed, but in time that comes loose. In fact right now she is sleeping on the back of one of her beds because she flipped it over and I have not bothered to turn it right side up.. I know puppies can be destructive with their beds and blankets, but Lola is about 4.5 years old, it's just her way of playing. So who else has a crazy dog that uses their bed like that

| Sounds like my Bella. She stays in a round playpen at night and will run as fast as she can around and around. She even moves it. I haven't smiled and laughed so much in a long time. She is a blessing! |

| My passed baby Matese hid her toys under the pillow of her bed, and like your pup she would stand on the pillow and try to lift it to get her toys lol, drag her bed all over and flip it lol. She did this up to age 13 years old lol, when she slowed down.

| Oh great so I guess if I am lucky I have this to look forward to for the next 10 years that's ok I love how she is so playful, but sometimes I just wish she would slow down and crawl on my lap Did Matese fetch also, Lola will fetch all day long if someone would keep throwing the toy.

| lol, you just may. What ever she did was ok with me lol, as long as she was healthy and happy. My Matese was a mighty hunter, and a thief. She would rather hunt then eat, she would steal things like chap sticks and $ from my purse and hide it in her secret hiding place. She would take her toys to the yard, bury them, unbury them and bring them in the house. I put a stop to that, she had inside and out side toys. She was mischievous up to age 14 when she started to loose her sight, she was 17 y/o when I had to let her go.

| When Sasha was about 6 months old we kept finding little tufts of green cotton in the kitchen and family room (the 2 rooms we keep Max and Sasha confined to). We knew one of them was tearing something up but we did not know what it was. We checked every piece of furniture, every toy, every corner. After about a week we walked in one day and caught her red handed. She had her bed upside down and was pulling out the stuffing. She had been doing this all along. But the strange thing was that she ALWAYS flipped it back over when she was done because we never found it upside down.

| This post has brought back memories of all my dogs! My little dogs have all done the exact same thing..even when I put my puppy on the bed with a little blanket and a toy…she starts going wacko! digging the blanket.toy in her mouth shaking her head..lol. Plus it takes her a good 1/2 hour to actually settle down. I'm going to have to start going to bed earlier just so she gets the bedroom wackiness out before I actually want to sleep!! lol. And she too will run after a toy for as long as I keep throwing it. If I want to stop, she brings it to me and shakes her head so fast I'm afraid she's going to break it, lol. She just has a ton of energy. But when she crashes, she's out like a light. She is definitely more snuggly when she's tired. Trying to hold her when she's wound up for me, is a losing battle. |

| Piper is 4 yrs and did almost exactly the same routine this morning and I'm not even kidding you! And as for the laughs, I work in guest service, full-time and live alone. I didn't realize all the laughter and joy and just sheer happiness that'd I'd been missing---until bringing my Piper-girl home...She makes me laugh out loud every single day! I love her beyond---for a zillion reasons; she is so completely honest and sweet and funny and patient. Such a big, independent gal and then she's my little tiny girl who just wants to be picked up...Such love, right? |

| I've always had animals, but never has one brought so much happiness and interest and activity...I am certain that our yorkies are gifts from God--sorta as a reminder that for all our shortcomings, we must be doing something right to have such a gift bestowed upon us!!! |

| This sounds exactly like my boy Asterix! He has some sort of fetish (excuse the word but this is for real!) with his bed. Asterix will go in a weird mode every day, usually earlt at night, where he would also attack his bed like this. But then not only does he attack it, he starts humping it like crazy!! He will bite the corner of his bed, keep it in his mouth and do his thing. I thought that I would just ignore it as it is a puppy thing he is going through. But this is honestly becoming embarrising now, as he has got no shame and will do this in front of guests as well! But everyone thinks it is cute and funny! Sometimes he will carry on with this humping mode for half an hour, to the point that he is so exhausted. He will then take a breather, and carry on doing his thing again. He has been neutered at 4 months of age, and is now 10 months old. I hope this is just a stage he is going through, and that he will get rid of it one day. But our Yorkie are really little clowns sometimes!! Never a dull moment, and we just love them too much |

| My boys "nest" and do some of the same silly things Lola does. They hold the blankie in their mouths while they work with their paws to scratch up the nest. Most of the time they accomplish absolutely nothing with all of their hard work. When Max was a pup, he attacked his bed every evening. He hated for the day to end, so he would have a little tantrum and go after his bed. I miss his puppy antics.
