| Prayers for Trinket tomorrow please She is being spayed and it always makes me nervous. Especially that she is still 2.5 lbs at almost 10 1/2 months. She is a skinny thing though |

| My Annie was only 3 pounds when I had her spayed. I know just how you feel. I asked the vet how he put such a small dog to sleep and he told me they use the same anesthetic that they use on 'premature' human babies. That made me feel a lot better! I was still a nervous wreck and even though they wanted to keep her overnight, I refused and signed her out the same day. Spent 48 hours carrying her around just so she wouldn't jump or pull her stitches! (she just slept in my arms most of the time). She did really well and I can't even see where the stitches were now. Good thoughts for your little one! She will be fine. |

| How is Trinket doing? Praying everything went smoothly today and that she is home resting comfortably.

| I hope little Trinket is doing very good after her spaying. Thinking about you because my little Tassel is about the same size as your little girl. I've been concerned for her to be spayed but so many seem to do very good. Looking forward to hear how you both are doing.

| She did very well, also had 6 residual teeth removed. I have only had one other female spayed which is a Chihuahua that was 8 oz smaller at the time and she had a rough time healing after the spay with pain so I made sure Trinket had the bring home pain medication which was not necessary? She came home and was a bit drowsy but was still ready to play and is absolutely fine today. She had those teeth removed but is chewing on her favorite chew bone today, I would have thought her mouth would have been tender? |

| I'm so glad to hear everything went so well for Trinket. 😊I know you are glad to have this behind you too. It helps to hear good results especially since my little one is getting ready to go through this pretty soon. She's actually about the same age as your Trinket. Thank you for letting everyone know how good Trinket did through her surgery and that she's back to her toys that quick!!

| Not sure what it is called but my vet used the gas that once it is turned off they wake up immediately. I will not have them put under without using that. |
